Marky Cielo is dead [07 Dec 2008|04:33am]
woah.! nashock ako sa new na to ah.  parang rico yan lang. i'm not a big fan of him though i was able to watch a lot of his projects sa gma. kapuso eh.

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Entertainment Portal on Sunday reported that it received a confirmed report that young actor Marky Cielo died at dawn Sunday. He was 20 years old.

The report said the cause of death is not yet clear. An initial report says that Marky died in his sleep. His mother went up to his room in their house in Antipolo City around 6 a.m. to wake him up for a charity event. But he never woke up.

GMA 7 issued the following statement past 4 p.m. Sunday on the death of Cielo.

Si Marky Cielo ay 20 years old.

Marky was a product of GMA-7's StarStruck Batch 3, where he won as the "Ultimate Sole Survivor." He was the first Igorot from Baguio City to join the popular reality-based artista search. Among his batchmates were Iwa Moto, Jackie Rice, and Gian Carlo.

After winning in StarStruck, he appeared in several GMA-7 shows which included Encantadia, Fantastikids, Bakekang, Asian Treasures, Boys Next Door, Kaputol ng Isang Awit, and Codename: Asero. But he was best known as Zaido Green in Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan.

He was also a mainstay of the musical-variety show SOP and in the primetime series La Lola.

Marky, who is also known for his dancing prowess, grew up in Butuan City but his family moved to the north.

His remains now lies at St. Peter's Chapel in Quezon City. - GMANews.TV and Philippine Entertatinment Portal

Vet Med student dies after accidentally drinking formalin [15 Oct 2007|10:39pm]

A fourth year veterinary medicine student died after accidentally drinking a glass of formalin in Los Baños, Laguna.

The victim was identified as Mark Lanzanes, a student at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños.

Mrs. Lanzanes said her son poured a glass of water from the refrigerator and went straight to his room after coming from school.

She said her son was studying the concentration of formalin which was also placed in a glass similar to the glass of water he brought up to his room.

ABS-CBN correspondent Sol Aragones reported that the victim placed both glasses near each other and mistook the formalin for water.

After drinking the chemical used for embalming, the victim immediately rushed to his mother and ordered her to call for an ambulance.

"Sabi niya, Mommy nagkamali ako ng inom. Tumawag ka ambulansiya, ayoko pa mamatay (He said, Mommy I made a mistake. Call an ambulance, I don't want to die)," said his mother.

His mother managed to bring him to a hospital but he died 15 minutes later.

-sad.

it just made me realize that life is so short. it can be  at this moment, you are just studying and then after a few minutes, you'll die. Only God can control everything. If he wants to take it, he will.. So let's thank Him for every moment that we're still alive. Live life according to His purpose. I can't remember that passage but it's in the purpose driven life book by Rick Warren. The first week i think.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. -1Cor.10:31

Inday-maid-in-the Philippines [11 Sep 2007|07:23am]

Inday: Sometimes, people choose to leave not because of selfish reasons but because they just know that things will get worse if they'll stay. Leaving can be a tough act and it's harder when people can't understand you for doing so.

INDAY: The way debris are scattered indicates that the gust of wind was going northeast causing damage to the path it was heading for.

AMO: (nosebleed)

AMO: Inday!!! bakit nagkabukol si junior????

INDAY: compromising safety with useless aesthetics, the not-so-well engineered architectural design of our kitchen lavatory affected the boy's cranium with a slight boil at the left temple near the auditory organ

- drunken shrimp and blue lobster meat with caviar serve with milagrosa rice (red variety) and apricot sauce

- vegetables in balsamic vinegar splashed with extra virgin olive oil

- lychee and peach salad with sour cream and cream cheese with lemon zests

AMO: Inday, bumili ka nga ng mga isda... oo nga pala inglessera ka na ngayon... would you please purchase many fishes for our this week's meals?

INDAY: Judging from your statement, I believe you meant a variety of fish. the term 'fishes', although rarely and even erroneously used, connotes a plethora or an array of different kinds of the aforementioned gilled creatures. but the more pressing questions before I traverse the road to the wet market would be:

what certain type of fish? fillet or not? frozen or just right smack the day's catch? (pauses) aaaaaah... by manner of careful extrapolation, given the meager budget and this household's quasi-peasant middle class taste, I assume the I will source staple 'ge-lewng-gowng'. Am i correct?

AMO: LECHE!

INDAY: you meant the fresh water milkfish? then 'ba-ngooz' is it.

Nurture others with positive, truthful words, not words that hurt. It doesn't cost anything to do so. But mean what you say, and say what you mean. Do it everyday. This is one of the most obvious qualities of the most beloved people. If you cannot be generous financially, at least be generous with your words.

Dear mother:
had it been for the smelling salt, i must have collapsed moment ago. junior has become a little monster to me. Remember the head accident he had? if it wasn't enough. he was summoned by the principal of his shabbily run academe. Oh, such an erudite bunch of baboons! never thought of being a governess can be such strenuous employ!
- INDAY

Dear Inday:
-TATAY

blood hell! what the f*ck did just land on my cutie top! I mean I've spent all day just to make myself look fabulous. I think I have to remove this eewie thing in a whip wham of time!

"Only Belo touches my skin, who touches yours?"

P500 - Globe Plan Subscription
P1800 - Glutathione Tablet
P600 - Olay Total Effects
P1500 - Crocs Flip-Flops
P2000 - For Mama

Binabudget ni Inday ang sweldo niya.

Attached herewith is a list of proposed acquisition in line with my proposal to upgrade your household facilities. I have already made initial survey of current market prices. Note however that prices could vary depending on the prevailing exchange rate and aggregate supply and demand which we also monitor on a hourly basis.

Inday: I don’t think that I want to have easy money for I know that choosing such employment is already limiting myself from experiencing enthusiastic ways of expressing what I feel by means of what I do, thus imprisoning myself with an incapable mind which will result to doubt and uncontentment.
Amo: Ay ewan ko sa iyo! Dinudugo na ako!

Much as I want to indulge in the proliferation of such indecent and malicious information, I want to lift the stigma and alleviate socity’s perception of our profession…

It’s hard to run from a feeling that haunts you every now and then, painful to tell your heart that you don’t need it. You keep on pretending that you are better to be alone, when in fact you feel so empty. But why take chances if you see no hope? Why try if there’s nothing to win for? Sometimes, it pays to wait… Never hurry, let infatuation die a natural death and give birth to true love when it’s time… - advice ni Inday sa amo niyang broken-hearted

I hate how coffee turns into an addiction and how it keeps you up all night. How it burns and makes your heart beat fast. Especially how it makes you crave for its rich and sweet promises of grains. milk, and sugar. Moments later, it puts you into a melancholic mood of coolness. Before you realize, it has consumed you before you should have consumed it. Empty. Hollow. Bitter. Then again… You crave for another cup. Just like love… - Si Inday nag-eemote sa Starbucks

How do I stop falling for someone? How do I defy the pull of gravity? Can I just flee? Flee before I hit the ground and suffer the pain and tell myself: “Why do I choose to fall in the first place, when I know from the start, that someone’s never gonna be there to catch me anyway?…. - tanong ni Inday sa sarili niya ng mainlove siya sa amo niya

“This is just not the right time to give it a try, for there are things that are not worth losing by making a move towards an uncertain future; destiny will always bring us where we’re meant to be.”

“I stay awake in the coldness of the darkened sky contemplating why, for some reasons, has my emptiness made itself manifests, extending to that niche where I was given life and growth, that because of austerity I was made separated from” - si Inday, hindi makatulog dahil nahohomesick

“I am solitary. I find it hard to succumb into slumber, though the downpour of rain should’ve made it easy. This exuberant emotional glue I have for you, cannot be simply washed away. The multiplicity of what I feel for you is inevitable. This isn’t platonic. It’s real, true romance.”

“The statute restricts me to love you but you have the provocation. The way you smile is the proximate cause why I love you. We have some rules to think of. We have no vested rights to love each other because the upper household dismissed my petition!” ganito nakipagbreak si Inday kay Badong (hardinero ng kapitbahay)

“I wish forgetting my feelings for someone was as easy as digging a hole in the backyard, burying it there, and leaving a cross over it to remind me how beautiful it once was. But it could never be like that, forgetting these feelings, is much like digging my very own grave and burying myself alive.” - Si Inday ulit, during the break-up

“heavy fire exerted by the stimulus affect the best conductor of heat which is the steel, causing “oriza sativa” to have a chemical change, thereby changing its state of color, smell, as well as the taste” - sagot ni Inday bakit nasunog ang sinaing

“La vida no es una broma actualmente. El dinero es tan duro de pasar. Puede usted bajar el precio parci mi? Soy ya su compradora avido diario por favor? si Inday tumatawad sa merkado ng isinama siya ng amo sa España

“Ipomea aquatica has become the constant ingredient to this Filipino delicacy which is very helpful in the digestion during the peristaltic process of the food we intake. Due to the continuous rains and floods, the harvest of the said vegetable has lessen the production in the market.”, banat ni Inday kung bakit walang “kangkong” sa nilutong sinigang

“Allergens triggered the immune response. Eosinophilic migration occurs to the reaction site and release of chemotactic and anaphylotoxin including histamine and prostaglandins. These substance results to increase circulation to the site promoting redness.”

Inday: Because I don’t want you to see me doing absolutely nothing!

“Physical stress and excessive work may result to serious damage to one’s body. It is therefore essential that once in a while we take a break from our usual routine to replenish the lost energy we once had.”

Misis: Inday, bakit mo binenta yung sirang silya?
Inday: I have computed the chair’s fair value less cost to sell, and the value in use using projections for 5 years and a pre-tax discount rate. Accordingly, the value in use is lower, so I decided to sell the chair. This in accordance with PAS18 on Revenue, PAS16 on Property, Plant, and Equipment, and PAS36 on Impairment of Assets!
Misis: ADIK ka talaga Inday!

Off you go! Under no circumstance this house would relent to such unabashed display of vagrant destitution!

Listening to the nonsense talk about someone’s life is a pathetic way of entertainment… it doesn’t contribute to the good of society… i hate character assassinators!

I understand that sexual urge is most of the time uncontrollable since a lot of factors contribute for it to tbe triggered… This is also the reason some men are found to be polygamous and engage themselves in sexual acts even with someone who’s a total stranger to them - sabi ni Inday matapos siyang gapangin ni Kuya!

Inday: I pity you for you have degraded your very own pride and dignity by resorting to this despicable behavior just for wealth, and I hope that one day you’ll realize that you should not use humans as means of your ends. As what the great philosopher Kant uttered, “treat a man as an end in itself.”
Holdaper: Shut up! Coz if you don’t the bullet in this gun will rest upon your empty head!

I was shot by a 9mm bullet in the head damaging my entire skull so that I will die and stop speaking english preventing people from nose-bleedin’ - In loving memory of Inday

I thought I was dead. I must have been in a near-death experience. I believed I survived to tell the world that we are not just a bunch of household slaves, but persons of dignity and character - si Inday, matapos makarecover sa coma...

-nasaan kaya si inday at mahire nga. haha.

-i was shocked when i heard this news from a friend of mine. Especially when I heard the name, Cris Mendez from NCPAG. He was introduced to me by a friend of mine when they had an Open-House in Narra Residence Hall (he actually bought a gallon of ice cream for us). He was another victim of the so-called hazing by the fraternity he joined(Sigma Rho)...

-ndi kami actually close but hearing the stories of his closest friends(especially ung mga happy memories), i can actually feel their sorrows. ndi ako mkamove-on. i know that cris was such a nice guy, a friend, a brother, classmate, everything. thats why i can feel my friends' sorrow.

The Art of Letting Go... [14 Mar 2007|10:47am]

got this from the net... hayyz.. hehe.. this one helps.. for those who are..

awww...  after u read this ul be..  hehe...

You thought you were in a relationship that would last forever. The two of you had talked about the places you would visit someday, the things you would do together, maybe even about getting married.

But now it's over. Whether it was you or your partner who decided to make the break, you may be feeling really bad about the end of your relationship.

Why Are Breakups So Painful?

A breakup is a loss, the end of something that was special and important to you. The grief you feel can be similar to the grief you experience when someone dies. You will miss the person -the special things you did together, the long talks you had, the private jokes you shared. You may wonder what might have been or simply miss being part of a couple.

Even if you were the one who ended the relationship, there were probably good things about it - and about your ex - that you'll be sorry to lose. Maybe you had grown close to some of your ex's family members and now you won't see them anymore. Maybe your ex is the only person you've ever met who shares your passion for a certain type of music or art.

Is It Normal to Feel This Way?

When you're going through a breakup, you'll probably feel many different emotions, often at the same time.

  • You may feel very sad.
  • You may be angry. "How could she break up with me after all I've done for her?" or "How could he prefer that person to me?"
  • You may have self-doubt. "Why did she leave - what's wrong with me?"
  • You may feel abandoned. "How could he leave me alone?"
  • You may feel fear. "What if no one ever loves me again?"
  • You may even feel some relief. "I could see this coming for a long time, and now it's finally over."

If you're the one who made the break, you may feel guilty about hurting the other person. You may wonder - even if you had a good reason for breaking up - if you're a bad person for doing it.

The emotional stress can affect you physically as well. You may feel run down and wonder where all your energy went. You might have trouble sleeping or sleep much more. You may not want to even look at food or you may want to eat everything in sight.

It's important to realize that it's normal to feel the way you do and that all of your mixed feelings about the breakup are valid. Identifying these emotions - and acknowledging why you have them - is an essential step in coping. At first, your feelings may be intense, almost unbearable. Fortunately, this intensity won't last forever; over time, you will find it gradually diminishes.

Taking Care of Yourself

While you're getting over the breakup, it can help to express your feelings in some way. You might write in a journal, compose music, paint, or draw. You can also talk to people you trust - close friends or family - or seek help from a trained counselor. If you need to, cry.

Take time to tune into your thoughts, too. Are you being too self-critical? Do you blame yourself for the breakup? Thoughts like these can drag you down and make it harder for you to get over the relationship. Now, more than ever, you need to think positively about yourself and treat yourself well.

It's OK to spend some time alone if you want to, but don't isolate yourself or wallow in your feelings. Make sure you still get out and do stuff with friends. Exercise can improve your mood, so take walks or work out in the gym and invite a friend along for some company. And try to eat good food and resist the temptation to console yourself with junk food.

If Things Don't Get Better

As with any loss, you will need time to recover from a breakup. If you're not feeling better after a couple of months, however, or if you're finding it hard just to get through the day, it may be time to get help. Some signs of depression to watch out for are:

  • Difficulty sleeping or sleeping too much
  • Not wanting to eat and losing weight, or binge eating and gaining weight
  • Difficulty concentrating or remembering things
  • Feeling helpless, hopeless, or worthless
  • Taking no pleasure in the things that you usually enjoy
  • Feeling tired most of the time

If this is how you're feeling and you can't seem to shake it, then talking to someone is really important.

Most colleges have counselors who can meet with you and help you work through some of your grief, anger, and other feelings. You may also find comfort in support groups of students who are going through similar experiences.

Moving On

When you start to feel better after the breakup, don't think that you have to jump into a new relationship right away. It's fine to be on your own.

When you've put some distance between yourself and the old relationship, you may want to spend time trying to think more objectively about what went wrong. What were the good points, and what were the bad? What will you do differently the next time you become involved?

The end of a relationship is something that almost everyone goes through at one time or another. The only way you can avoid the pain of a breakup is to avoid having any close relationships - and that's not a good option.

Despite the emotional upheaval, things will start to look better after a while. Then one day you'll suddenly realize that you're over it. And if you're lucky, you will have learned something from the relationship that ended - something that may help you make your next relationship more successful.

Crazy in Love??! [08 Feb 2007|09:55am]
If you talk to two persons - one who has never felt love, and other who is deeply in love, you will find them talking in a very different way. If you ask a person who has never loved about what he/she felt about the other's talk, the answer will be- crazy!

Is it true? Does love drive one to madness? It may not be madness as understood by psychiatrists, but a madness of emotions. Is that right? Why does love do that? To understand this, we have to explore more about love or romance. Is it friendship? Is it physical attraction? is it just liking for each other? What is love and what is this relationship all about? Love combines all these and goes much beyond in bonding. Lovers are bonded to each other emotionally and totally. A lover cannot imagine of a life without his/her beloved. A lover will suffer like a fish suffers without water, if he/she is separated from the beloved. Love becomes the whole life. Love gives life. Love becomes the reason of life. Life begins and ends with love. That is love. And that's why people call love mad!

How and why a lover feels like this for one's beloved is beyond any logical explanation. There is no arithmetic sum that can decide this. It is all emotional. And the emotions are so overwhelming that they engulf the whole personality. Why does a flower look lovely to all of us? Why are we attracted by the sight of a beautiful sunset? Why do we love to walk on the beach? Do we know? Can we answer these questions? Our only answer may be that- I feel happy doing it. A lover feels happy, rather so happy in love that it cannot be compared with any other happiness. One forgets one's pains, one's pleasures and one's existence when in love.

Fall in love if you still haven't and feel the madness. You will get a clue to why true lovers are called mad.

Someday... [21 Jan 2007|12:15am]
-==Someday==-

Someday you’re gonna realize
One day you’ll see this through my eyes
By then I won’t even be there
I’ll be happy somewhere
Even if I can’t
I know you don’t really see my worth
You think you're the last guy on earth
Well I’ve got news for you
though I’m not that strong
But it wont take long
Wont take long

Someday someones gonna love me
The way I wanted you to need me
Someday someones gonna take your place
One day I’ll forget about you
You see I won’t even miss you
Someday someday

(I know someone's
gonna be there)

Right now I know you can tell
I’m down and I’m not doing well
But one day these tears they will all run dry
I wont have to cry,
sweet goodbye
(wahaha.. bitter mode..)

Opical Illussions [18 Nov 2006|03:55am]

this is a forwarded email... astig! try nyo!

Is This Possible??

Are the purple lines straight or bent?

Do you see gray areas in between the squares?
Now where did they come from?

You should see a man's face and also a word...
Hint: Try tilting your head to the right, the world begins with 'L'

If you take a look at the following  picture , let me tell you ... it is not animated.  Your eyes are making it move.  To test this, stare at one spot for a couple seconds and everything will stop moving.  Or look at the black center of each circle and it will stop moving.  But move your eyes to the next black center and the previous will move after you take your eyes away from it.... Torn between two lovers [18 Nov 2006|03:44am]

There are times when a woman has to say what's on her mind
Even though she knows how much it's gonna hurt
Before I say another word let me tell you I love you
Let me hold you close and say these words as gently as I can
There's been another man that I've needed and I've loved
But that doesn't mean I love you less
And he knows you can't possess me and he knows he never will
There's just this empty place inside of me that only he can fill
Torn between two lovers, feelin' like a fool
Lovin' both of you is breakin' all the rules
Torn between two lovers, feelin' like a fool
Lovin' you both is breakin' all the rules
You mustn't think you've failed me just because there's someone else
You were the first real love I ever had
And all the things I ever said, I swear they still are true
For no one else can have the part of me I gave to you
I couldn't really blame you if you turned and walked away
But with everything I feel inside, I'm asking you to stay

"THREE" [17 Oct 2006|11:43am]
I think that I shall never see
A grade as lovely as a three
A three that’s earned with blood and sweat
When failing is a serious threat
A three I’ve asked for God all day
Knowing praying is the only way
Exams are taken by fools like me,
But only God can give a three
